Another week, another comfortable win for Shan United as the defending Myanmar National League champions comfortably beat Thitsar Arman 4-1 for their fourth straight win at the start of the new season but Yangon United had to work hard for their 1-0 win against Mahar United.
Meanwhile, Hantharwady also defeated Yadanarbon 1-0 with ISPE beating Ayeyawady United by the same scoreline while in the Dagon derby Dagon Star United beat crosstown rivals Dagon Port 4-2.
Macau: Benfica conclude title-winning campaign
Benfica De Macau closed out their championship-winning 2024 Liga de Elite season on Saturday with a 0-0 draw against closest challengers MUST CPK, finishing four points ahead in what has been their first league title since 2018. Elsewhere in Macau, Cheng Fung beat Lun Lok 6-0 to finish third.
