Abdysh-Ata were a revelation in the AFC Cup™ ۲۰۲۳/۲۴ where they reached the Inter-Zone Final before losing to eventual champions Central Coast Mariners and will expect to reach the AFC Challenge League group stage.

Champions of the Kyrgyz Premier League for the last two seasons, Abdysh-Ata are currently leading the domestic standings after 16 matches.

It was, however, a slightly disappointing build-up for them heading into this clash against Attack after they were held 1-1 by Muras United on Thursday, their first drawn match in the league this season.

Strength has been added in attack with the return of Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Yaghr to the club after a brief stint in the Uzbekistan Super League while Kyrgyz Republic international Erbol Atabaev has also joined from Russia’s Volga Astrakhan.

Tuesday’s match will be Attack’s their first-ever tie on the continental stage but they will come prepared. They will head into the game having won last season’s Afghanistan Champions with a perfect record of 11 wins without conceding even once.
Attack have also left no stone unturned in their pursuit of a spot in the AFC Challenge League group stage, having added five foreign players into the squad including Nigerian forward Felix Obada, who had previously played in Northern Cyprus.
Attack spent three weeks training in the Islamic Republic of Iran and arrived in Jalal-Abad on Friday, giving them plenty of time to adapt to the environment and stadium conditions as they look to make their mark on the Asian stage.
